Research for Production Logo Animations

Using the website www.videocopilot.net we have been able to access tutorials to help design and create out production logo animation. I have taken a few screen shots of the tutorials watched below...

The idea of my production logo animation is to have the snapshot of the camera lens crush and explode the text of the title. I have done a drawing in photoshop to help describe and plan my idea. 

Here I have the camera lens, whilst the title is slowly emerging (using animation in After Effects).

When the shutter within the lens starts to close, as if a picture is being taken, it will crush the title as if it was in the way. This will then cause the title to explode using animated particles (created in After Effects).

And below here is screenshots taken of myself making the animation.

Below is the result of my animation in After Effects. I will need to add in the footage I want in final cut as my next step to finishing this. I think it also needs a bit more editing so it can match up the camera shutter speed settings, however I will do this once edited my film.
